Minimum education and experience required:
Family or Internal Medicine training.
Medical degree from an accredited program: MD or DO.
Knowledge and skills required:
• Clinical experience or training in an office-based setting.
• Practical knowledge of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, blood-borne pathogens, etc.
• Competent with standard computer applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office products, and ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record.
• Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
