Many simple conditions are accurately diagnosed with a thorough medical interview; these are the ones you'll find in our list of eVisit services. An online diagnosis isn't right for everything and we don't treat conditions requiring a physical exam or a lab test, urgent conditions or patients who have been classified as a high risk pregnancy. If an online diagnosis is not right for you, we will direct you to the care you need.
An eVisit is available for Ashley Clinic patients who:
- are 18 years and older,
- are an emancipated minor,
- have a MyAshleyCare account,
- are an established patient receiving care from an Ashley Clinic provider within the last 13 months, and
- are physically located in Kansas. If you are physically located in another state at the time you submit the eVisit information, we will need to determine whether our providers may lawfully treat you at your location.
An eVisit must be completed by an adult patient for their own health care.
An eVisit is not available to patients who are classified as a high-risk pregnancy or have had an office visit or eVisit for the same diagnosis within the past seven days. You will need to schedule an appointment at your clinic.
Our Ashley Clinic providers will respond to a patient's eVisit request within 3 hours if the visit is received before 9 pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year (even holidays). But, you can complete an eVisit anytime, 24/7.
If the eVisit request is received after 9 pm, a provider will respond by 10 am the following day.
Completing the eVisit questionnaire takes about 15 minutes.
An eVisit costs just $39 with your credit or debit card. An insurance claim will NOT be submitted to your insurance carrier on your behalf.
eVisit providers are board certified, and licensed and authorized by state law to prescribe medications, if they determine that you need them. Many prescription drugs are not appropriate to order without a recent physical examination. We do not provide prescriptions for pain medications, narcotics, or other drugs that might be addictive or potentially abused. You are responsible for the cost of any prescriptions or over-the-counter treatments you may need.
The information about the eVisit will be recorded in your electronic health record, with some of the details available in MyAshleyCare chart. MyAshleyCare is encrypted and protected, so you can feel confident that your personal health information is secure and confidential.
