In the battle to end breast cancer, awareness and funding are critical - and everyone can help.  That's the concept behind Plant It Pink, the newest grassroots campaign of the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).

Through the campaign, ACS CAN hopes to sell and plant at least 2,000 boxes of Pink Impression tulip bulbs in Kansas to represent the approximate number of women in the state who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010.

Support ACS CAN by planting it pink in your community!  To join ACS CAN and order your Plant It Pink tulips, visit www.plantitpink.org.  Tulips will arrive in early October and may be picked up at 13 locations across the state.  Three local locations are the ASHLEY CLINICS in Chanute, Erie and Yates Center.  Pick up date is October 13th between 1:00pm-5:00pm.  You must order on-line or from the phone number above.
